Letter from the Chair
Dear Dedicated York County Democrats,
We are proud and encouraged that we have a winning candidate for governor of Maine in Congressman Mike Michaud. He is currently polling at 40%, with the others trailing behind. You can help Mike win this race by canvassing. Contact our York County field organizer Maria Woodbury at 807-8666 or email@example.com to see how you can help .
We have 29 York County State Senate and State House seats we must win next year. In addition we will have our governor's race plus our US Senate seat currently held by Sen. Collins. You can help by donating $31 for our 31 races by going on our donations page or by printing out our donor form and submitting a check. Another way you can help us reach our fundraising goal is by hosting a house party and donating the proceeds to YCDC.
On March 2, 2014, the Democrats caucus throughout Maine. Please help by identifying leaders in our 29 towns who can organize a caucus. We also encourage you to visit our Redistricting Chart to see if your district has an open seat or a seat held by a Republican that we must win. If you know of any good candidate, you can refer him/her to Marc Malon firstname.lastname@example.org for the Senate or Sean Smith email@example.com for the House.
